Rigging / Pipeline TD

Integrated Digital Domains production pipelines for the Unreal Engine, to Output rendered images two commercials, I also developed some production pipeline tools to facilitate stretchy wires, and legs for a "LG" Tv Commercial. And am currently working on a production pipe to automate assembly of a "Assembly Line Conveyor Belt System" in Maya.

Projects: Gears of War Comercial(s) "Happy Warriror", and "Last day"; LG Flad Screen LCD TV Commercial; Lexus Car Commercial .

 

Spark Unlimited (03.2006 – Present ) - Sherman Oaks ,CA

 

Rigging Department Head

Focused on two Next Generation titles for Xbox360 and PS3; developed rigs for mythical creatures, humans, and inanimate objects; developed and oversaw Tools production and R&D for animation and game code; mentored and managed three other riggers, including one Senior and two Juniors.

Project: Legendary; and Turning Point (Fall Of Liberty).


Wonderfun (08.2005 – 08.2006) - Los Angeles, CA

 

Visual Effects Supervisor

Worked on visual look development as well as technical problem solving and troubleshooting for a Direct-to- Video Children's Educational Program; focused on early childhood development. Originally brought on board due to quick problem solving skills and eventually entrusted to oversee and maintain a consistent look and feel for the project.

Opticality Corp. (03.2005 – 06.2005) - Los Angeles, CA

 

Technical Director

Assessed the need for tools, and plugins for Max, Maya, Nuke & Standalone Applications; used Max Script, Mel, C++, and Nuke Script to enable production to handle shots comprising of eight cameras for the desired stereoscopic effect, seamlessly as if it was a 2D image with a slider for depth, reducing production times by 80%.

Xtrackrz (08.2002 – 12.2002; 08.2004 –03-2006) - Los Angeles, CA

Setup Motion Analysis System; calibrated, shot, re-targeted, and integrated the files captured; built the pipeline for two children’s series, and a Made for TV Movie; built several tools, including Solver Batch (C++), MayaBatch(C#) and EVaRT Matrix (Visual Basic).

Sony Pictures Imageworks (01.2003 – 08.2004) - Los Angeles, CA

Animation Support and Pipeline TD

Built tools using Mel, C++, Unix Shell scripting; enabled animators to handle scene data amongst multiple animation packages; character setup TD; setup and rigged two character rigs (2 BG Kids on the train) and several prop rigs including (Bell, Unicycle, Trumpets, Piano, Slay Rigging, Zeppelin).

Built customized pipelines in Maya, Max, Softimage, and Lightwave for delivery onto clients' skeletons; responsible for the scripting and pipeline design and integration into the downstream pipeline.
